The youngest coach to win a FIFA World Cup is Mario Zagallo, who won the tournament as coach of the Brazilian national team in 1970 at the age of 38. Zagallo was a former player who had won the World Cup twice as a player in 1958 and 1962, and his success as a coach in 1970 cemented his place in football history. Since then, there have been several coaches who have won the World Cup at a relatively young age, including Aime Jacquet (France, 1998), who was 46 at the time, and Vicente del Bosque (Spain, 2010), who was 59.
